Owners — Noah Cooper & Margaret Velez-Cooper

As owners and directors of Ivy League, Margaret and Noah have transformed the school into an unparalleled educational institution with outstanding (1) academic curricula, (2) facilities, and (3) extra-curricular programs such as ceramics, Chinese calligraphy & Mandarin.

Noah Cooper

Noah’s goal is to provide an academically and athletically enriching environment for Ivy League students.  Specifically, Noah recently enabled students to bring classroom technology into their homes by overseeing a web portal, which enables parents and students to see past, present and future assignments.  As a strong advocate for athletics in education, Noah is overseeing the construction of a turf athletic field similar to those used by the most elite teams in the sports world such as the New York Giants.

Noah has earned the trust and respect of the entire Ivy League community through his accessibility to parents, faculty and staff.  His exceptional relationships with area businesses, support of community organizations, and efforts to improve ecological awareness are well established.

Margaret Velez-Cooper

Margaret has an unparalleled passion for the arts.  She taught dance and dance history at both Towson and Columbia Universities and recently received a Signature Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners for American Express Entrepreneur of the Year.

Because of Margaret, the art, music and foreign language programs at Ivy League have been profoundly expanded.  Talented students can now express themselves in a cutting edge art studio and in the elementary school band.  Margaret was a pioneer in recognizing the importance of teaching Mandarin at Ivy League.  She noted its significance in today’s world and that its study improves brain function.

Ivy League can provide your child with a unique array of enrichment programs because of Margaret’s relationships with cultural institutions in New York City such as Lincoln Center and the American Museum of Natural History.
