Younger Boys and Girls (Grades K-2)

At Ivy League we are keenly aware of the developmental needs of younger boys and girls entering kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Scaled down ball fields, attention to skill development and learning the rules of the game are hallmarks of their athletics program. Using a curriculum of unique games, specialists work to increase each camper’s coordination and self-confidence in gymnastics, soccer, softball, basketball, tennis and hockey.  Adventure sports like sky bounce, rock wall, go-karts and low ropes are also introduced.  An explosion of color, sound and movement awaits our young campers as they participate in dance and arts & crafts workshops designed expressly for their age group.  Pony rides, miniature golf and nature round out the program.  In addition, an elective program allows our young campers to express their individuality by selecting a different activity each week.  Favorite traditions each summer season include an off campus trip and a Late Night where our first and second graders remain on campus enjoying dinner, games and an extra swim.  You won’t want to miss this division’s Performing Arts Festival, an end of camp highlight.
